The headquarters suspect there was a leak from the Vienna station where Henry and Vick work. Henry has been sent to interview Celia Harrison (Thandiwe Newton), who also worked at the Vienna station during the hijacking. Henry and Celia were lovers, but he left her shortly after the incident. Celia, now retired, lives with her family in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California. Henry finds her in a high-rise restaurant, almost empty of customers and staff. As Henry and Celia talk, she says that an Austrian intelligence agent named Karl Stein (Corey Johnson) came to her shortly after she left for Carmel. He wanted to inform his colleagues, but he refused. Henry remembers the hijacking of Celia. In the 2012 flashback, Flight 127 was on the runway when it was hijacked by four armed terrorists belonging to an Islamic militant group. The Vienna station jumps into action to deal with the crisis and finds out that Ilyas Shushani (Orli Shuka), a Chechen, and Henry’s former informant may be involved. The hijackers threatened to kill the passengers until several of their companions were released from custody. Ahmed, a CIA courier who was on board, contacted the CIA and suggested an attack by the ship’s undercarriage. Celia connects with a potential source named Mohammed Dudayev (Nasser Memarzia), but the meeting is of no value. Henry tells Celia and his adviser, Bill Compton (Jonathan Pryce), that while Henry was working in Moscow, his superiors forced him to betray the Russian government after the terrorist attack.
