The movie opens with a recap of his last picture, which was basically a Yorkshire egg farm spoof of The Great Escape. Away from those terrible, chicken-farming people, the two main chicken characters from the previous movie, American cannonball artist Rocky Rhodes and stubborn Ginger, are married and live with other chickens in a gorgeous bird sanctuary. However, their small child, Molly, is restless and yearns to venture outside of their cocoon. Ginger, ever the watchful eye, fears the worst when they witness a section of the woodland across the canal being destroyed and a number of other chickens being driven off in a car bearing an advertisement for Fun-Land Farms. Molly, on the other hand, runs from the coop and tries to take the relocated hens on a thrilling expedition that involves them riding around in buckets.
